I'm a bit concerned about this cheap, and plasticky feel I keep reading. Is anyone else concerned that some reviews are saying that it feels less than solidly made?

Read the review on this forum. It says the Incredible has a good build and feel.

I held one yesterday...in VZW store explaining that I hate ATT, absolutely love my iPhone....but I HATE ATT. I need to find replacement phones for THREE iPhone users (no small task!!). Droid is very close...but not quite there for all three. Some VZW exec was there with an Incredible. Best touch implementation and form factor since the iPhone. I know VERY little about Android...but I do know that I doubt the "new" iPhone will be THAT GOOD....to keep people from jumping off that sinking ship called ATT. Every single call will have a drop...that is my life....till the 29th! I need all of my users to play with this before we port. It was fast, responsive, incredible. I always am on my sopa-box about how easy and effortless the iPhone i...

I have tried the IPhone 3 times (3 models). I also love the phone, if it did not come with AT&T attached to it. Made a trip to Dallas area, and it was great there. On the way there and back, constant dropped calls. Pics sent to me by a Verizon customer NEVER arrived.

That's weird. The Eris is not cheaply made imo. Don't know why the Incredible would be...

"...a more plastic feeling plastic...", that sounds funny, but I get your meaning.

I can't wait to get this baby in my grubby little hands. My Body Glove will arrive tomorrow so my Incredible will never be touched by human hands (outside of those that made it of course). 😉 The weight and feel, even with the BodyGlove, should be a welcome relief after having carried this Palm 650 brick around for years.

which bodyglove did you order? I do not see this phone on their website. Is it a universal or a fitted model?

I ordered it through Verizon and it's the fitted one made specifically for the Incredible.

I played with a Dummy phone in Verizon. I don't think it feels that cheap or plastic like. But it is definitely a light and thin phone, that I think feels solid enough for it's dimensions.. It's a non-issue for me, but I may put a silicon case on probably cuz I drop phones like they're hot.. I pre-ordered mine yesterday and I can't wait to get it! 🤣
