Verizon Does NOT suck! I STRONGLY Feel thaT VERIZON is the best. the best coverage, the best phones, the best plans, and last but not least the absolute best customer Sservice ever!! ATT, T-MOBILE, NEXTEL, CINGUALR, SPRINT cannot compete with them. why do you think that they have americas most trusted most reliable network in the US??

Even though I am Verizon customer since 94 (well used to be Bell Atlantic Mobile), I have to disagree about one statement - Verizon never had the best phones, they always lagging behind. In CDMA networks Sprint gets all the best stylish phone contracts, but they service and outsourced customer support is TERRIBLE!
Regarding the phones I would put Verizon on 3rd-4th place after Sprint, AT&T and may be Cingular.
Regarding Verizon service - they are the best inn major metropolitan areas and probably the best overall in North America.
Regarding customer support - they are very good (if not the best - AT&T customer service is also very good).
Regarding technology - CDMA is the latest, fastest and most secure wireless technology available for ...

Interceptor you are right and wrong! I believe that the IS-95 protocol running on top of almost all CDMA networks doesn't even come close to the GSM protocol running on top of TDMA in terms of the end users capabilites (i.e. WAP push of SMS for GSM vs crappy indication to connect to server to get your SMS from a server for IS-95). I am not saying that GSM is better than CDMA because thats like saying that TCP is better than IP, TCP runs on top of IP!! You are correct in stating that CDMA is better, its better than TDMA due to spectral efficiency but IS-54 is not better than GSM!! For 3G technologies such as UMTS which is 3G GSM running on CDMA you can see that combining the superior 'enduser' protocol (GSM) with the superior RF technolog...

Verizon will be getting a V810 in September. That will be their equivalent to the V600. Doesn't look as good though (in my opinion).

I really doubt that V600 will be ever adopted by Verizon.
V600 is pure GSM phone (quad-band) and Verizon does not have GSM networks - so it doesn't make any sense for Verizon even think about this model.

Unless, which is more likely to happen, Motorola will release some kind of Verizon's version of V600 (something like V600c or so, the same thing they did a while ago with V60 model). But in that case the Verizon’s V600 would loose all GSM features - which I consider the main advantage of this phone.
Another though - Motorola may convert V600 to something like Samsung SCH-A790 and made it CDMA/GSM phone - that would be a real killer!

🤣
