Hi there y'all

I wonder if you could help me please ? - I've just bought an unlocked Orange V600 and inserted my O2 sim into it and is very impressive, except for :-

1. I can't change the #1 speed dial so that it dials 901 and connects to my O2 voicemail - it just says "no answerphone stored" and I can't find an option to change the key allocation/phone number on the settings menu - Any ideas guys ?

2. Does anyone know what settings to put into the email setup to link up to my freeserve home email account (eg. port numbers, etc) - Presently I've inserted the following numbers etc.,

ISP settings - GPRS
email provider - custom
protocol - POP3
user id - burtie.freeserve.co.uk
sending host - smtp.ntlworld.com
sending port - 25

I can help with question #1, but haven't played with email yet (here in the US it's all configured on delivery).

To program the voicemail number:

Menu -> Messages
Menu -> Voicemail Setup
Voicemail Number [change]
then enter the number with wait/pause/passcode/etc.

cheers for coming back to me megabit, but I don't seem to have the voicemail setup on my messages menu - I bought the phone second hand unlocked and whilst I use O2 now, it was originally an "orange" phone, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it

thanks for bothering to try and help me though, it's much appreciated

regards
Mike 😁
