Just get the V400. As I stated earlier, you cannot buy it from AT&T without service, and you will be looking at a number of months if at all it comes for Cingular. The V400 is almost identical.

yeah, i spoke to a sales support specialist and it has not even been tested in their lab yet. i think at least 3 months if at all. by that time there will probably be a better phone out there to buy. yes, i do think motorola will loose moneys if they don't think make their flagship phone ava. to everyone. and there is another difference between v400 and v600. v600 per specs has mms video playback if i'm not mistaken, v400 doesn't. 🤣

Cingular is the market leader in Los Angeles, not ATT, not T Mobile. The TV and Movie business is centered here. According to the trade paper Variety, 80% of industry offices use Macintosh computers, not NT (windows) based machines. Macs now come equipped with bluetooth. Many, if not most people that live here and work in this business are greedy, whiney people who do not settle for less than the best and will not be happy with less than the top model (they will not take the v400 when the v600 exists.) I'm sure that it will take longer for Cingular to get the v600, particularly if they are acquiring AT&T, but do the math.
