it was going to launch this past week, but there must have been a set back so they pulled the date. which i know sucks but, if you think about it, would you want a bad os?

maybe there was enough outcry about the lack of animated wallpapers? Maybe due to the delay, now they'll get it working. Or maybe it will do flash ... who knows?

Have them on my Droid atm... kinda neat, but useless without the new launcher (makes them interactive)

The new launcher doesn't work with the Droid because it freaks out when you go into landscape mode with the keypad. Maybe they took it back to create a working launcher2.apk for it.

If you are comfortable with rooting, the Droidmod 1.0 has live wallpapers alone with many other features.

Droidmod.org Go there on your motorola Droid browser and download the app (need to enable it on your phone). This is the SholesMod.Info team so if you bought sholes mod before, your paid version will transfer to DroidMod.

The live wallpapers arn't interactive, but they're still really nice

Two words for you...

Bugless Beast.

Sholes can't touch it.

Eh... I used Bugless Beast. I liked it.. but I love how seamless Droidmod is to update, and I like that it lets me choose what features I want to install (For example, I like the 2.0 lockscreen, my friend likes the 2.01 lockscreen)

Bugless is really nice, I'll have to check their new rom, but imo.. the Droidmod App is what makes it a superior choice

How much easier can it get than just downloading the file, moving the file to the phone and installing (that's a serious question, not trying to be a smarta$$)?

I am gonna checkout Droidmod ASAP just because you seem to know what you are talking about. IMO, if you do try the new BB, Don't install past V0.8.7.

Oh and FWI you can patch in the different lock screens on BBeast

Droid mod is an app.. I load it up, and it checks my rom against the current one. If there is an update it tells me. I click "update" and it downloads the new file to my SD card. When it is done, it asked me to flash rom, or quit. If I quit I just install the mod like normal next time I reboot.

If I flash rom, the phone reboots itself and loads into the installation screen, creates a Nandroid backup, then asks me which parts I want to install. The rom comes with several different options for lock screen, maps, etc. it will also let me choose if I want to remove certain features (I didn't like that Bugless beast removed certain default apps without an option to get them back)

The ease of use is because I never have to plug my p...
