If wifi isn't connected, even though it is enabled, it should default back to 3G.

There is an icon in the status bar that shows when you are connected to Wifi. it's basically the wifi symbol (looks sort of like .))) (yeah, it hard to do that as text...). It's slightly more "squared" than the typical wifi symbol, but is pretty recognizable if you are familiar with that symbol. If wifi is connected, it replaces the 3G symbol, so look for it in the same place on the status bar. It also will show signal strength by "lighting up" more bars, just like the Cell strength meter. (it's possible that Eris masks some of those notifications, if you are using Sense)

Sounds like an App update.

In the Marketplace, hit "menu", then you can open Downloads. Usually, apps with updates should be at the top, but in any case, this screen shows the apps that are currently installed, and if there is an update available, it will list next to it "Update Available" instead of "Installed"

Also, you might consider, rather than just titling the threads "Mupi", that you actually put something about the problem; it will make it easier for someone else who might have the problem later to find the thread. Also, someone else might be able to get a quicker reply, since I can't always spend all day rummaging around the phonescoop forums (much as I would love to... 🙂 )

At least you are willing to admit when you don't know something, and ask for help.

And at least you don't go off spouting lies and gibberish.

Unlike some in this forum, who shall remain nameless, but who has the first inital of "v" and rhymes with "oyagerboy" đŸ¤Ŗ
