LG enV Touch VX-11000
Plan change?
OK so i go into Verizon to upgrade my original alias(yes the ugly gold one) to an enV touch. Long story short they tell me i have to change my plan(no price change). The way they explained it is i can't have the enV touch on my current plan because when i use the internet and stuf it charges me airtime, but i need to change it to MB use. Is this whole thing legitimate?

Yeah that is true I went from a data package for a smartphone to what they call a package for premium phones. If you use the internet you are charged like 1.99 per mb of data vs. paying 15.00 for the data plan.

If you have been a Verizon Wireless cust and had the 15.00 data plan. you still keep the unlimited data even if you changed pricing plan. However, if you are a new cust and never had a mob web browser then upgraded to the data package then yes you are on the MB data plan. Just call cust care. or listen to the options and talk to a tech support rep. They should understand it better then cust care rep.
