New Update and I spoke to VZW

Well I've been running .75 this whole time on all 5 of my storms and I hate it.

After reading on engadget and phonescoop about the .148 update I called 611 and VZW confirmed...they ACTUALLY CONFIRMED the update. They said to g2 www.blackberry.com/updates at 3 PM on Sunday to do it on the computer or you can wait til 10 PM on Sunday to do it OTA.

Either way...sign me up! I'm sick of this buggy OS 😡

actually suppose to be tomorrow that it should be out, its not .148 though, its suppose to be .203 is the update. this is coming from a Verizon Rep.... ME 😎 You will be able to know when OTA comes out cause there will be a update indicator on your storm.

The numbering system is strange with blackberry OS's. It is actually .148 that will get released. The .203 number goes along with it I think is a package number.

Can it be any more confusing? ahhhh!!

Offical for the public. TODAY is what our paperwork from Verizon HQ said. 👀 and im running the software now.. cause we had to load it up today on our PC's so if customers needed help or the current stock doesnt have the update.

which ever feels confortable to you.. they are both easy to do. One just requires you to plug you bb into your computer get online with desktop manager which might take 5-10 min.. OTA is about 15-20 min cause it is using your phone access instead of your home or work hi-speed. if your lazy wait till the icon comes on your phone and then dl it.

I just did it and it didnt take long at all on the computer. I was also impatient and didnt want to wait until 10 PM tonight.

Just make sure to Back up your storm ( I didnt) or else you will lose everything.

G'luck..its a great update!
