can the storm be unlocked to be used on any gsm carrier. such as t-mobile cause that would be amaaaazing 🤤

i have heard but not confirmed... i saw it on crackberry.com that someone was trying it... check there first. as a vzw rep i wouldnt reconmend it for a couple of reason, voids warranty, doesnt seem the phones especially pdas work right when they are flashed onto someones elses service. also you run the risk of the flash frying the phone which bam! your left with a brick that you just shelled out $500-$700 (w/o contract) for. 😢 i know you dont want to hear that but just tying to help.

yeah i know the risks as a vzw rep myself. just wondering. im at work right now, so all i have is phonescoop. cant go to crackberry or anything like that.

ill check it when i get home. or maybe just say screw it an get an iphone.

You can get the Storm unlocked and it has been proven to work on T-Mobile and AT&T.
The catch with using an unlocked Storm in the US is that it will not run on T-Mobile's or AT&T's 3G networks. The frequencies are simply not there in the phone.

There are many that will unlock the phones. Here is one of them:
