camera options on different os versions
ok i pulled a storm out of the back room, and the camera had an option i had never seen before, white board. im running .90, and i dont have it, but i never noticed it before on my storm.
anyone else using different os's (.75, 76, 83,85 have the option?
i think .85 was almost as good as .90, but the camera in .90 sucks, so i was just curious if .85 had it so i could use that. i need the camera to work.

in .90 the camera is worthless for me.

its called 'whit board' i believe, and its an option below black&white and sepia. its kinda like the 'sketch' mode on some of the phones (samsung a950) but adds white.
its really cool actually, and yeah the .90 camera, well, isnt a camera lol.

.75 has whiteboard option, its under options, HOWEVER !!!
I just enabled the whiteboard option, and took 2 shots, after the second shot my screen went white and the phone was totally frozen.
Did a battery pull and now its ok.
I went back in and turned off whiteboard.
I dont know what its supposed to do, but I know I wont ever touch it again....

lol. its kinda cool option, and it works fine on my .99 os. we took 1 pic at the store on a storm runnin .75 and it was ok, but hey that kinda stuff happens.

thanks for sharing.. im still running on .75 (not a risk taker) and although some times things take like 3secs to load.. im fine with it..when i turned on the whiteboard for my phone.. it worked fine.. try it again.. worst comes to worst just battery pull again =]
