New Software Available Yet????
Does anybody know when the next software upgrade will be available? I'm running 4.7.075 which still needs alot of improvements and tweaks. Thank you.....

.75 is the latest official Verizon release.
If you are adventurous, There have been numerous "unofficial" or "leaked" software releases in the past couple of months. The latest one to show up out in the wild is 4.7.0.90 which is a lot faster, but has camera problems.

Everyday I click on Windows Update in the phone but no upgrades yet it says. Oh, well, I guess I just have to be patient which isn't easy for me.

RIM is turning out OS updates to Verizon for testing like you wouldn't believe. As soon as Verizon finds one they are comfortable with, we will see another official release.

I don't work for any of them. I just took a big interest in the Storm.
Its tough to pour through everything on this site, but on: www.crackberry.com you can learn a lot about the Storm and blackberrys in general.

After going through 3 storms Verizon finally admitted to me that there were too many issues with the storm and heavy users like me will not be happy with the phone. The wall street Journal had a great article about the Storm this week in which sales were high but also returns and customer complaints were also high. I have read several articles in which some people suggest it is a hardware issue not so much a software one . I would love to have a storm again and verizon would give me one but they know the issues are still there and will be for a while good luck!

I've said this before, too many of you on this forum seem to be very lazy. The Hawk is not your Blackbery B*^&$. Do some research for yourselves. The Hawk gives some very useful info here, but too many of you ask very simplistic questions. If your any kind of a blackberry fan, how do you not know about the Crackberry web site. Again, thanks Hawk for all you info!
