Storm or Curve???
i am upgrading this weekend from my palm treo to a blackberry. i still don't know if i want the storm or the curve. any advice?? thanks!

Depends on what you will use the smartphone for really and what type of interface you like.
Curve:
-Has similar size keyboard to your Treo and no touchscreen or stylus.
-The trackball is easy to use and navigate with
-Been out for a while so most bugs are worked out
-less memory and processor power than storm
Storm:
-Virtual keyboard, no physical one
-brand new, has some initial software bugs but still a usable phone
-Unique touch interface is a love it or hate it thing with people so try before you buy

My cell is my only phone so I use it for everything as well as for my job. I just wondered if anyone preferred one over the other. I know absolutely nothing about smartphones so I am really looking to other people to guide me.

a physical keyboard will always be eaiser to type with. so if you do 100s of emails a day curve will probably be easier. but play with both phones first. i have the storm and i text alot and i do very well with the virtual keyboard. so its all about you. everyone is diff.

go with the storm its new! exciting i just got it and its very cool device and the keyboard is actually the easiest way to send text the suretype isnt so good at words since typing hey they say get as first choice which is annoying

Despite a couple of the BB Koolaid Drinkers here, I will give you the factual story. You would be a fool to upgrade to the Storm at this time. There are many serious bugs with this phone. I took mine back last Saturday after 2 weeks of heavy evaluation.
