Text message time stamp

My text message time stamps are off. The ones I send the time is correct but when someone sends me one, the time is off by several hours. Has anyone else been having this problem? Any ideas on a fix?

I saw on some other forum about changing the time zone to GMT-1 Azores and then manually setting the clock to my time (Pacific). Well that didnt work 😳

I don't know about the time for text messaging specifically, but if I turn the Omnia off, the time resets to 4:00pm when I turn it back on if the phone is either off or not in range of a cell tower. Why doesn't the built-in memory store the time?

When I turn my Omnia Off and then back On, I find the time to be correct.

Its not the clock on my phone necessarily, its the time stamp on my messages. If someone sends me a text it says they sent it at 830am and when I reply to it , mine says it sent at 431pm. Strange.. I dont know how to fix it 😕

I have found several little bugs with the phone but end up finding the solution on a forum. I am still loving the phone though 😁
