Phone storage

This phone has 8gb...is that internal, or is there already a card in the phone?

The reason I ask is that I was moving music into My Music and I ran out of memory...after 4 songs. Is there a separate place to store to use the 8gb.

None of the music software finds music that is store in My Music. Instead, you have to use the file explorer...is there a better way than this?

I think these issues are Win Mo issues

Anyone know of a cheap software to sync iTunes playlists with this phone? The media player on the phone is sorely lacking in functionality.

8 GB included on the phone is internal memory. In addition, there is an empty micro SD slot to add an additional 16gb of memory (possibly 32 in the future, but not sure of that).

So for starters you can have up to 24 gigs memory on the phone.

Then why did I run out of memory? Is there more than one way to access to onboard memory? Try moving files from your computer to My Music...see what happens.

Yes I did the same thing. You need to move it to the "My Storage" folder. That is where the 8gb is. Internal I think it is 240mb or so .. someone correct me.

Do you know why i have all this music in "MY STORAGE" that my Touch Player won't recognize? I drill down to the MP3 files, which play just fine on all other devices, even WMP on the same phone, but Touch player won't acknowledge them. Any clues?

The 8 GB is separate. You need to make sure you're saving things the correct part of the file system. (I found it to be very confusing as well.)

Yes, the folder called My Storage seems to access the 8 gb.

Is there a way to set the default folder where pix and files are saved?

I have not found a program that actually loads photos, so there is no place to set that. You have to manually move any picture onto the cameral unless it is taken by the onboard camera, for that, I have not seen how to create a default. It will be interesting to see if someone else has.
