I have a winmo 5.0 cingular 3125 and I am looking to upgrade soon.

My office has a microsoft exchange server and I think the new Iphone will have that also.

Any reason to wait and check out the new BB Bold?

I'd say you do, since the Bold would be more business oriented, and I doubt the iPhone would have exchange server compatabilites.

I would go for the Iphone- one of the key features is the ability to sync with Microsoft Exchange! its UI (user Interface) is way more intuitive than blackberry's and battery life of the iphone is the longest for any 3g phone on the market... not to mention there will be countless tools created for iphone users by companies like sega, google & even yahoo-tools is creating business oriented widgets for the Iphone.

The Bold is already on ATT website as coming soon.
I wonder what the battery life is compared to Iphone.

Good point, marufio.

My advice is to play it safe and wait for the Bold to come out so you can compare it with the new iPhone. They will compete with each other, but they will be very different and you might prefer one over the other once you get a chance to play with them a bit.

Bottom line is:
Blackberry Bold = Business
3g iPhone = Sexy Time 😉

The updated I phone is a piece of junk. Yes it has a great browser, visual voice mail, and an Ipod, but lets look at the minuses. No media card slot. No user removable battery. Because Apple wants to be the only ones to be able to make money for a new battery. They don't want third party vendors to make knock offs because they would lose money. No MMS, no video capture, and no flash and this is supposed to be a multimedia phone. No voice activated dialing and no cut and paste. And you have to use it on the AT&T network. Which means poor call quality, dropped calls, and a small footprint for 3G since they are behind the times. And when you get millions of people using their network with I phones what do you think will happen to download speed...
