Can you hear me now?
Okay, I started the "Compared to Motorola W755?" thread a couple weeks back. Whew! I truly appreciate all the enthusiastic comments. I have since had a chance to hold, but not to use, the VX8360. I would agree with some reports that the 8360 seems less well-built than the w755 (more plastic, less metal, less "heft").
I am glad to hear that the 8360's speakers and speakerphone are more akin to the old LG8300. I am wondering about the voice commands and voice recognition. The 8300 was about 50/50 in this category, but that was light years ago, software-wise. The Moto w755 does a pretty good job with all things voice. How about the LG VX-8360?

My NE2 starts 2/17. I have been researching this and the W755. Please keep posting about the good and bad. VZ salesperson at the store tried to sell the W755 over the 8360. Mainly because he just got the 8360 in-store. Still have a good week to decide and at this point my only concern is the vibrate not being very strong.
One other thing is having to change to Nationwide and not keep AC11. Big threads on Howard Forum about that.
Again Good & Bad. Thanks.

I had to switch my plan because my son got the Dare, and I'm not very happy with Nationwide. 3 game downloads that I didn't even realize I somehow did (????) and I get data charges and believe me, they are steep for how little I do (by accident no less). I've never played the damn games, and they appear to be demos at that...? (regardless of the employees on their soapbox about how it's "the same" cost it's not...) So yeah, think about the switch because I have the 755 and I don't have any reason to let it go...moto has its issues but phone quality, voice quality, RF, reception, are not among them.

One Issue that I resolved today was the vibrate. Tested on the W755 & 8360. 8360 took awhile to figure out. IMO both had a decent vibrate and are stronger than what I have now (8600).
