Text messaging while in a call....
Does the Curve allow you to text message while your on a call? My Fusik would let me do it, so I know its not unheard. But for some reason my Curve doesn't let me and gives me the error: "Mobile equipment status failed".

I have Sprint 🤨 Why is it that Sprint can't take advantage of all the features on these Blackberries? MMS is another example..... (Not bashing Sprint, I'm actually a happy customer.)

Yeah I don't know what sprints problem is. They add certain features that few people use (like TV) but then wont allow things like MMS which far more people could take advantage of. Its just weird.

I have a Sprint (work issued) Blackberry. I can receive text messages while on a call and can send 1 (yes only 1 text while on a call).
After that, I get a message: Packet Error, could not send message. Clears up when I hang up.
As CWcanty said, it does work on Verizon wireless for him and I can also vouch for that since my wife has a Verizon Blackberry and she texts and talks all the time.

It must be my Blackberry or the cell site I am connected to. When I first got it, it appeared to work fine but just recently it started doing that.

I am Sprint Customer. It's Funny. Sometimes I can respond to a text message that comes in while on a phone conversation and sometimes and I cannot. Weird. I cannot send one while talking though. Sucks.
