Anybody who pays $800.00 for a phone that you'll be able to get for about $179.00 with 2 year agreement is just plain crazy. Anyone who wants to waste your money go right ahead and do it. All im saying is i can wait for the Curve to be released through traditional channels. Nothing wrong with my phone. I was stupid and purchased a Mogul.

Same here! I won't be paying that much for the phone, but I bought the Mogul straight up b/c my Razr was driving me crazy with the constact technical problems . . .

Now, with the 2-yr. agreement, I just renewed my contact in Feb for 2 years, will I be eligible for the discounted price if I agree w/another 2-yrs?

DOES ANYONE KNOW???? 👀

People keep on talking about how Best Buy has The Curve on there site. Has anybody look more carfully at the page. Its showing on back order 1-2 Weeks and its not showing in stores. It says in Preferred Stores or something like that. I looked at some top markets and its not there.

well the other thing you have to look at is that its on backorder aka not released yet so you would be paying 800 for a phone and then have to wait who knows how long to get it. i guarantee you as soon as that phone is available for purchase at Bestbuy that it wont be 800. Besides ebay is where to purchase phone only to avoid contract extension. I'd say about 400-500 max for it on ebay. Throw in the fact that i can sell my touch for about 200 and im not spending that much more than contract renewal price.

ok first of all thats the outright price for the phone. the new 2 year agreement is $199 with a $59.99 plan or lower and $179.99 for a rate plan of $59.99 and up. The two year upgrade is $229.99. all with instant rebates no mail in rebates.

that wont be the outright price of the phone once its actually on shelves. at least not at a sprint store. why you go thru bestbuy to buy a sprint phone i dont know. thats why the phone cost more. im saying 600 max for outright price at a sprint store and probably more like 499 or 549
