Shortcuts on my main screen

I had the shortcuts bin up and somehow I held and was able to drag a shortcut to my main screen. Now I have this shortcut on my main screen all the time and do not want it there. Can someone tell me how to get that off of the main screen?

Drag the icon back to the arrow where the shortcut bin is and it should disappear.
