Initialization Error

I've got 308 songs in the My Music

fairly often, when hitting the next track button, it freezes and after 10 seconds it gives me an "Initialization Error".

then it 'reads songs into memory" and starts working again, but will do it again later. zIt usually doesn't get thru all 308 songs during this reads, but errors, starts over, and finishes the second time.

you mean actually physicalkly remove the battery (5 seconds ?)

powering off/on didn't help

do you understand what it si doing when it 'reads music into to memory" (takes 10 seconds)

it can't be reading the 1.2G of songs off the card into the phone memory - it's too small. Is it just reading the titles, info, etc ????

thanks

powering on and off doesnt do the same thing as leaving the phone on and pulling the battery (i know it sounds silly). its like shutting down the computer normal, vs holding the power button or pulling the plug. when i play the movie, it would start to load then freeze, then say 'initialization error'. i would try 3 or 4 times and the same error. then pull the battery (leaving the phone on) and put the battery back. it would always work fine after that. it should just be putting the music into the music player memory (so it knows the names and tracks and stuff). let me know what happens i hope this helps 🙂

so i leave the phone ON, and pull the Battery ???

Does that lose any settings ???

What does SYNC do for me ??? Can I get Playlists backed up on the PC with it ???

I did have a couple of tracks that played fine, but had little "x"s next to them, i don't know why, i didn't see that icon in theicon glossary

thanks
