some Dare-ing questions...

I just got the Dare and am very impressed with the phone. Upgraded from the enV, and 8300 before that. Each phone I've had, I've thought was pretty much the best phone (at that time). I'm happy to say the Dare continues this tradition.

I do have some questions about it, and I apologize if they are a tad long-winded...

Bluetooth
- How do I pair the Dare with my computer? Or from phone to phone? I hear it has this capability, but since I've never been able to before, don't understand why this is good.
- Is there any special hardware/software needed to pair with my computer? Does my computer already support bluetooth profiles?
- What kind of things/files can be transferred this way?

bluetooth- you need software for the computer, bunch of different kind, but i dont know any cause my friend does that stuff, sorry.

pairing to phones is just like a headset, make 1 phone discoverable, then find it with the other. the dare can do a lot with bluetooth.

text alrets- not to my knowledge

ringtones- you can send them through gmail, save you the memory card step. then save the message in your phone(lock it) to send to others

charging-no, set the clock and its cool, or take a pic of all black maybe

video- when you hit the record time button, then click for send. it auto makes it the lowest setting (177x144 i think) and limits the time for sending.

wallpaper- there is a post on here for animated wallpapers in the da...

it's funny, I'll sometimes read a post from somebody saying that text alerts are possible on other phones (like the 8300), but no details are ever given. my guess is that's an urban myth... unless somebody can prove me wrong...
