Move music to phone? Need Vista USB drivers?

I have the phone, and I cannot get it to sync with Windows Media Player on a Vista computer. Verizon Techies couldn't help, and they called LG who said they couldn't help either, and told me I should try and buy the drivers from a third party.

They said the drivers only support Windows XP, eventhough Vista is 18 months old.

I do not want a subscription service like Rhapsody.

Any ideas?

For some reason when I loaded the cd into my cd drive it never would recognize it at all. I tried to right click the cd drive and go to explore and it would eject the tray asking me to insert a cd lol. So I just put the cd into my laptop that has XP, copied the USB driver exe file onto a flash drive then ran it on the Vista machine from there. It installed just fine. After you plug the device up, go to Settings & Tools>Tools>USB Mass Storage to activate it as just another jump drive. From there I just transfer all my mp3s into the my_music folder I think is the label. Dunno if any of that helps or not. I've not spent much time in the cover art to really mess around with syncing with WMP. Sorry if that wasn't any help 🙂
