Album Artwork
HELP!!!
Next attempt is to delete the songs off the phone and re-add them to see if that does it.
If anyone knows of another way, or is using a program other than Rhapsody to get album artwork to transfer, PLEASE share.
Thanks.
set the dare as a mass storage device
just make sure the fielanme is not long for example if you have a song
akon feat jay-z - rap.mp3
rename it not
akon - rap.mp3
I'm using WMP to sync with the DARE, btw.
TIA
You can rip the songs from whatever program, iTunes, Media Monkey, Rhapsody, etc. I use the mp3 format, not WMA
Add the files to your Media Monkey library. Then select all tracks on the album and right click and select "Auto Tag from Amazon". This should download the album artwork, and should ask you where to save it. Once you have the artwork, usually a jpeg file on your PC, make sure it is no larger than 65K in size.

Thanks for the help.
iPhone & iTunes sync this info without all this hassle.
I have over 500 albums (8 gig expansion card) and this process would take several days to complete.
BUT...
I cannot get iTunes (or any other program) to include the album art.
ALSO...
The Sync always adds a folder with sub directories of the albums. After this is done my phone (Dare) doesn't find any music.
I tried to move the music into the MyMusic directory but the phone still doesn't see the music files until I remove the sub directories (all music files on the directory root MyMusic).
I must being doing something wrong because this should be an easy thing to do.
Don't think this matters but...
I have been plugging the memory card into the PC then after the card is Sync'ed I plug it into the phone.
essentially just go online and download all the album covers you want, make sure they are under 65k. i use google and search ".... album" find a pic about 300 x 300 and under 65k. save all of these to a folder, i named mine album art. take out your mem card and copy everything to a folder (make easy to find, like on desktop). delete all the music off the card. download media monkey. when it asks where to look, just pick the folder you made with your mem card music. once the list populates, right-click on the track and click 'properties'. in the tabs on top, one should say album art. click the tab. if something is already there, 'remove' it. if not, click 'add' find the folder with the album ar...
