Can this be tethered to a laptop for use as a modem?
does this sync with outlook (contacts)?
has anyone set up the e mail client? I don't expect it to be as robust as the Blackberry but how does it compare?

It can be tethered. Since it runs on Rev-a, it is quick for a phone! I pulled around 520 kbps for download, and 400 kbps for upload on an average. Not nearly the speed on aircards for this area but it got the job done.
Have not got mine to sync with outlook yet. It is having some trouble syncing, so not sure if I need to get mine flashed or replaced or just a glitch.
Have not tried anything on the e-mail client. Sorry.

it should still use the mobile email vcast client like voyager or other handsets do.
