the "cent symbol"
does this phone even have the cent symbol, i mean its got 10 pages of symbols {including the entire german alphabet} and it dosent have the damn cent symbol.
also at this time id like to say after this phone now since november i really feel like im getting less now then when i first had it from it's service because of the lack of the mobile youtube service now and you cant even e-mail verizons now, whats that about? when did that even start? ive also been a verizon customer for over 4 years now and it's like they restrict our cell-phone "privliges", if you wanna call them that, as time goes on. anyone agree? they act the government giving us less control as we keep giving them money.

Voyagerboy, I don't know or care anything about the cent symbol, but I agree they should have one. I am glad to see that someone is saying that the youtube is not working for them like it did before. I have been saying that for some time and even talked to Verizon without any answers. All I know is I cant search and watch a video anymore like before, it was great, I would watch videos that were 10 minutes long, now cant watch anything, but youtube comes up with other bullshit on page.

I had the same Youtube problem that has been described in several posts that I think you are referring to. One day I just opened up Youtube and it looked completely different and videos didnt plays. Bummer.
If this is the problem you're having just either check and change the bookmarked URL to http://m.youtube.com (someone my URL had magically changed to something else) or try just navigating to this page, clicking thru the unlimited data warning and then seeing if Youtube looks simple and normal again.

thats what I use m.youtube.com and it don't help. I cleared my cookies and cache and nothing. Verizon doesn't know why. Used to watch good clips and now a different page comes up and when I put in search a Verizon page comes up and no video.

m.youtube.com works fine. Keep bugging tech support; it's something in your area or something with your phone.

Youtube works just fine! Go on your browser and click entertainment and then videos and then you will see youtube and click on it and there you go.

Thanks peanut, I found that out on my own a couple weeks ago. When I put in address m.youtube in browser it don't work like it used to, and now when I go through entertainment I watch all the videos I want.

Anyway, what makes you think you can't email verizon phones? You can email any phone on pretty much any carrier by sending email to 10digitcellnumber@teleflip.com.
