Mobile Email App
I bought my Voyager used and there is a Mobile Email application installed on it. I tried to delete it but it tells me "License not found. Insert the card used to download this app."
Any ideas on how to delete it?

The mobile e-mail app. is part of the ' GET IT NOW' feature that is part of the imbedded software that comes pre-installed on the voyager. Please correct me if I'm wrong, someone, but I was under the impression that this 'imbedded software, could not be deleted without, perhaps, some registry hack. Again, someone more tech-savvy than me,set me straight if necessary.[newline] [newline] Also, the fact that your getting the 'no liscense found' message, probably means that the mobile e-mail app. may not have been set-up by the former user, or perhaps even installed on the voyager to begin with.

Also, the 'insert the card used to download this app.' could mean that the former user downloaded the application to a micro-sd momory card, and removed the card from the device before it was sol to you. In which case, you would need to re-insert the card and then delete the app.

Just ignore it. Or, take a look at it and see if it might be handy. Depending on your data plan, it might be free, or it's 5.99 per month to be able to pick up your email on your phone. Otherwise, if you don't activate it, it won't cost you anything and doesn't use up any resources. It's only a link unless you download and activate.

The Mobile Email application comes with the phone software. If you do a Restore of the Phone Software (an option within the phone Menu), you'll find that it is still there.
Leave it alone or use it as you desire depending on your VZW Plan.
