Everyone I call say they hear their own voices in an echo when we talk. Anyone else have this problem?

hi, thanks for responding. No I don't have a headset, but I do have that silicone cover for the phone plus a 4 GB memory card. This is my 2nd phone. The tech guy when i called 611 heard his own voice also so he told me to take the first one back and get another new one. But the same problem with this one. It doesn't matter if i am in car, in house, whoever I am talking to hears their own voice in an echo. I am thinking it has to be the cover or the memory card. any other thoughts? is there a setting that could be set too high? please, i need help.

Well, it's easy enough to take of the cover and remove the memory card, to see if either of those are a problem. However echo is usually a network issue, not a phone issue. I would call back to Verizon support and keep working on it until it is resolved.

Hi, thanks for the help. I will call again. I love the phone so much. I hate to hate to bring back a 2nd phone. Are you happy with your phone? Any tricks or tips you have for me? I am not really tech savvy. Thank you very much.

I've exchanged 6 times already or was it 7? I can't keep track but this one seems ok.

A hassle? I think not. I would NEVER stand for ANY Verizon employee to give me a hassle. If they did, I would cancel my contract immediately without paying any early termination fee's. Don't feel stressed about Verizon giving you a hard time. After all, they have to exchange phones unlimited number of times if there is a problem. Sometimes the problems are intermittent and they do not have to diagnose the problem in order for the phone to be exchanged. I know from experience. I have just about every make and model exchanged over the years. Those Ver...
