Anyone else having difficulties using the touch screen to scroll. I know that I keep selecting an item instead of making it scroll. Any tips on how to better get through the menus. It is frustrating to say the least 😕

It takes some geting use to, that's for sure. It's opposite of what you'd think it is. It takes some strategic placement of the finger to do so. My advice....practice. You have to use the very tip of the finger on the very most edge of the screen.....

I'm actually not having problems, everything is almost like a webpage, up is down, down is up kinda thing.

I am having a lot of trouble with the scrolling. I also have an iPod Touch and the scrolling is really easy. Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity (under settings and tools #😎? It may help a little.

It's totally backwards. You might think you need to grab the scroll bar and pull down. Wrong. You need to push the page up. The interface is inconsistant. In some places you page down, in others, you push up. You'll get used to it, but you shouldn't have to.

It's "pressure" sensitive so what you should try is pressing on the screen and as you scroll up, down, left or right keep the pressure on and you will get used to it. The iPhone and iPod touch are "touch" sensitive that's why they work different. To see what I mean go into the calendar and put pressure on the screen and drag your finger across the calendar dates and when the date you want is highlighted release and it will open that date up. Hope this helps!

So, the Voyager is Pressure sensitive? Aren't you afraid that you'll break the screen by applying too much pressure? I mean how much pressure do you have to apply? DOn't you ever apply too much? I'm sure that once everyone gets the hang of the new LG Touch screen, it'll become quite easy for everyone to use as with anything else...

when i first got my voyager i was so annoyed with the scrolling, but i kept playing with it and now it's pretty easy. it's definitely the opposite of what you think it should be .. if you think you should scroll up, you'll have to scroll down, and vice versa. the weird thing is that it isn't opposite on the browser .. the scroll direction is normal. another thing i realized is that you have to scroll with your finger on the very edge of the screen kinda or you might select something else by accident. hope this helps ..

This sounds really stupid, I know, but I find in I turn the phone partially sideways and approach the scroll bar that way it works fine. If I try to scroll while holding it vertical I end up, like others, selecting something instead.

Okay so i just got my voyager yesterday and i was having the same problems with the scrolling issues. Be ready cause i have figured it out and now i cant find anything i dont like about this phone. All you have to do is go to your settings and recalibrate it. But here is the thing. When it pops up the crosshairs, take a "stylus" type object and poke the first one dead center. Then with the 4 corners instead of tapping them dead center tap them on the outside edges of the crosshair and i found that it works perfectly. i can drag my whole finger through everything now and all it does is scroll and i have to physically touch the button if i want to access the particular menu or contact etc. Hope this helps everyone as much as it helped me.
