Voyager upgrade?

I am not eligible for the NE2, however, I am due in august. would i still receive some kinda of discount on the phone? i read somewhere that i might. is this possible?

Absolutely. The phone will be less by then, but you might just want to wait for the Voyager 2 (vx11000) by this time next yr, since these things get upgraded once a yr.

sorry to be unclear. What I meant was can i get some kind of discount right now on the voyager instead of having to wait for until august?

Call customer service they may let you upgrade early. They are the only ones that can change that; the stores can't(they allowed me to upgrade early once).

They will give you somewhat of a discount if you have had service for one year (349 i believe) and they will give you the 2 year price (299) if you have had a problem with your phone at least 3 times in the past year. In other words take it to the store 3 times and tell them you are having problems with it. Tell them the screen messes up sometimes and it drops calls. Space it out over a week or so in between. Nevermind, I didn't say all of that just now...... 😉

Is August your upgrade date or your two year end date? Either way you could do an early upgrade in December.

If you are on a $49.99 a month plan or higher and you have been on that plan for at least 3 consecutive months, you can upgrade early after 1 year (12 months). You have to go to an authorized retailer if you want to do that instead of CS. Corporate stores and Circuit City, BJ's can't

HA! The VX10000 is not even released and you think the next version will be out in 2008? HA!

Check out VX6700 and it's replacement the VX6800.

yeah buts that a pda. pdas dont really change that often but phones do. just look at the 8500 and its successor 8550 1 yr later it came out. also the 8700 was out to overtake the 8600 since it sold so well.

well not so fast. i told CS that i would think about upgrading and decide soon. Well i called back today and tried to order it. they said cuz my NE2 isnt until august they wont let me. grrr im so pissed 👿
