Yet ANOTHER phone Sprint customers will never see....

Phone looks pretty cool, im on the fence on the keyboard but its still nice. the menu looks pretty clean and the colors look vibrant.

id really like to see phones like this on sprint. for some reason they seem to be doing pda phones for their cdma network and the whole nextel thing seems to be seriously distracting them from the ultimate goal, making customers happy with their phones.

What's wrong with Sprint having PDA phones. It's something that we have that Verizon doesn't (as far as newer ones, that is).

Well if you haven't looked lately, VZW does have the new Samsung i760, which is an awesome phone, and Sprint doesn't have that. VZW is getting the 6800 1st quarter and oh yeah we have the VOYAGER and VENUS, and THE Juke! go figure.

The Juke looks like a piece of *bleep*! That phone/mp3 is for tweens/teens. If I see a grown person with a Juke I will point and laugh. 🤣

Here is what's wrong with it. I've been a sprint customer for 6 years now and still like the service. I don't have a need for a PDA phone and don't think I would want one even if I did. I'm switching to verizon this month because they have phones like this. That is the type of phone I want. Not a butt-ugly sanyo. I love Sanyo phones but they have been ugly as hell lately. This is the type of service most people want. That's the problem with having too many PDA phones. So there goes a $1400/year customer and I could see a few more people like myself. If this phone were on sprint I'd be elated because the menus would be so much cooler and the phone would be so much easier to use, but because they refuse to get these phones lately I'm...

Did someone from Sprint just say they wanted a Verizon phone because of the menu? Did Hell just freeze over?

I know, man. I know. I never saw the day coming. Can't really say which I will like better because I haven't switched but we'll see. I'll keep it honest.

Wait. No I said I'd rather have the Sprint menus. I read that wrong. I don't look forward to the verizon menus at all. At ALL!

I agree with you about Sprint not having enough stylish, feature packed non-pda EVDO handsets. I disagree about the Katana phones being ugly. The color choices are whack but the form factor is nice. I like the Moto Q9 that will be released soon. I will have to go to a Sprint store and check that out. 😉

Hahaaha. oh well the network for sprint is unlimited data. Verizon caps your usage. Also sprint is getting ready to roll 4G so verizon is still evdo rev-o sprint is evdo rev-a.

I love one-uppers. They better make some sweet phones AND have 4G. Like the Voyager with it's own menu's AND 4g. Then sprint would be sweet. Until then...

That is false, yes Verizon caps data usage, but Verizon is all REv A and has been for several months now.

Whether or not the network is upgraded to rev A the phones they carry aren't so as of right now what's the use?

It doesn't matter, because no phones for any carrier besides pdas have REV A. I only mentioned what I said because he said Verizon was only REV 0, which is false.
