Motorola Q9m / Q9c
q9m battery
Does anybody know if the q9m has the same battery and extended battery as the q? Tried to get this info from both Verizon and Motorola; nobody could give me the answer!

this has a standard battery with a half hour more talk time. not sure about extended. the battery really is better!!

When I popped the extended battery from my
old Q into my new Q9M, it worked.
However I did not have the extended battery cover to see if that fit too. But the phone did power up.
IMHO, you would not want to use the
old Q battery anyway.
The mAH rating on the extended battery for the Q is lower than the mAH rating for the extended battery for the Q9M
For example my Q extended battery was 1640mAH
and my Q9M extended battery is 1860mAH
a higher rating means longer run time.
And when you combine email syncs, use of BT, and playing kevtris and using GoogleMaps on your phone, you need all the battery life you can get.
