If i download songs onto my phone from my computer, usuing the music essentials kit, how do i set a song as a ringtone??

You can't do it with a music essentials kit. The only way to do it is to make a clip of the song and e-mail it to your phone (phone#@vzwpix.com). Then save the file as a ringtone.

I've tried this.. didn't work.
Audacity then sent it to my email via that way. and it didn't work.
Didn't even receive the file. Tried it twice, if Verizon charges me, I'm going to be pissed .

Actual the best way to do it is to create a .wav file out of a 30 sec snipet of a song. upload it to the verizon website messaging system and send it to yourself that way. Then you can save it as a ringtone.
The reason I feel this way is better is because if the is a conflict with the file it will let you know when uploading. You can then adjust the file and try to upload again.
I use Wavepad to edit the mp3 file.
