I am interested in going from my Treo 700WX to this phone and I need reviews from Verizon customers about it before I go and buy it. Can anyone tell me how it is? This is my secondary phone mainly used for business phone calls and email. I have a Venus as my primary phone. Please someone let me know!!!

I went from the treo 650p to the xv6800 and love it. As long as you have wireless sync all your data will be transfered as soon as you active the phone and sync it.

PRO:
Yes, I have it on VZW. I have my own Microsoft Exchange email server, and this phone works perfectly with it. Whatever I have in Outlook on my desktop or laptop is also available to Outlook on my phone.

I can be out at a client and my wife can add an appointment to my calendar, and it shows up on my phone a few seconds later. All of my contacts, email that I choose to sync, calendar, notes, and tasks get pushed to the phone by the Exchange server.

MAJOR PRO: It has WiFi! Instead of lugging my laptop with me on vacation, I now just take the phone. VERY COOL!

CON:

I'm new to these PDA phones. Do you have to subscribe to the ~$50 a month data service to use the PDA features?

Thanks

Today is week one for the xv6800.Except for the HTC home plugin, It is all stock. This is my first smart/ppc/cell phone, so I dont have anything to compare it to. However so far I have not had to reset / soft or hard boot, or remove the battery! My only complaint so far is that the volume could be ALOT louder. Battery seems good so far, being that its new to me its not off for to long. I have been charging it everynight. All in all I think this phone is great! 😁
