HTC Mogul / XV6800 / PPC6800 / P4000
windows media player - no sound
Bought the xv6800 2 weeks ago - so far pretty happy with it. But, not able to get music out of it - copied cd's to my computer and from there sync'd to the phone. Screen shows song is playing, headphones properly set and checed but no sound. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, nyguy

This may sound stupid, but try unplugging the headphones. If there's sound coming from the device, it may be a headphone issue. If not, make sure the sound is all the way up (via speaker icon on the desktop). Not trying to say you're slow or anything, but sometimes we all overlook the little things.

Thanks, u don't have to worry about calling me slow - I have two teenagers who do that on a regular basis. Problem got fixed and I really can't tell you how or why (btw, I have more college degrees than I care to admit but this is whole new realm)
now, why can I get the signature block to accept my signature and place it on my outgoing emails - I've typed it in the correct box, checked all the little check boxes that I'm supposed to check but still no outgoing signature? any help much appreciated
