Has anyone taken the SIM card out of the IPHONE and tried to use another phone with it? I want to be able to insert in in my Blackberry Curve in certain instances but not sure if that work.

When you put it in your N75, did you still have 3G speeds - is it a 3G SIM?

I was at the Apple store yesterday and I wanted to buy it, but the rep told me that wouldn't work.

Does anyone know if you can put it in another phone?

Also, anyone tried to put it in another iPhone?

The sim will work its just your not going to have 3g speeds because the iphone does NOT have 3g.

hmm.. so you're saying the 3G icon is my phone lying to me? are they throttling down my phone while on the 3G network? After the glorious incompetence displayed over the last 3 days..I highly doubt it.. But I guess I could be wrong.. or hallucinating

Just because the phone is not 3g, doesn't mean
they aren't installing 3g sim cards in the iPhone.
A 3g sim card WILL work in a 3g or non 3g device.
However, a NON 3G sim card will NOT work in
a 3g device. Selling At&t myself, I haven't
seen any non 3g sim (other than those in a customer's old phone) in 6 months or more.
