TOTAL BULLSH**!!!!!

I can't get this phone unless I take my line off our business accounta and make it a personal account! This really sucks!

Anyone know if this is going to be a temporary thing, or if they will be creating an update where businesses can use the iphone?

Let me know, I'm a bit furious right now!! 👿

So, are you saying take off your fan to activate it and then put it back on? Or are you saying you have to give up your corporate discount too in order to use this piece of crap? If you do does the 10% restocking fee still apply if you want to return it? What a PR nightmare this will be and it couldn't happen to two better companies.

I don't understand why this hasn't been brought to the attention of some media outlets.

Come on...business accounts are huge for AT&T, and Apple is trying to sell the thing to business customers by using advertising to instill confidence in the business practicallity. I'd like some answers?!

Will not work on a business account (corporate responsible), period. That was an Apple decision, from what I've been told. The guys in the B2B department aren't allowed to touch it, even if somebody wants to open a personal line for it.

It also can't be set up on a personal line, then transferred to a business account.

As for a FAN number, what they said was that you can put it on a personal account with a FAN, but the discount doesn't apply to the iPhone line. There's a chance that iTunes may freak out if you've got a FAN, but you can remove it and re-add it, as somebody suggested.

They're really NOT promoting this as a business phone. Most of the business customers we got in our store asked about it, but decided to stick with thei...

That's terrible. Why would you do that?

When you put in your commercial that the phone will support your corporate email then you're pretty much advertising to the business user.

ok here is what i have gathered

u can have the FAN on your account u won't receive a discount on service nor the device though

if the FAN is on a family talk you will get the discount if the Iphone is not the primary line so i am hearing ... ill follow up more on this later next week when i can apply one to a new FT account i created yesterday

as far as business goes

u really don't have a CORPORATE Solution for u with this device
... No Blackberry technology ... no microsoft push technology

u can't add BB connect to your account while u have the neccessary Iphone features and swap your SIM card out

this device is so locked u either have to forfeit any extras u are use to like swapping phones .... not using features u...

ATT obviously sold their soul to the devil for this. No wonder Verizon turned it down flat when first offered to them.

You don't want the phone for business use anyway. Very limited and just a gadget. Wait until Jobs gets it right. When the battery fails you will have to mail into Apple(ala iPod) with about a 3 month wait.

Well I don't think this phone is going to bomb at all, but all of this restriction is starting to piss me off!!

One of the best things about ATT is that you have the freedom to switch your sim card in and out of devices, and experience everything out there.

This phone is pushing ATT closer and closer to becoming a restricted TURD carrier like Verizon!
