Would you rather pay 399 plus a two year contract for the i760 or the iphone?

The iphone o/s seems far more stable than the i760.

Why do everyone feel the need to compare the iPhone to every other phone on the market. You ignorant troll, the I760 and other WM devices are targeted to business customers. The iPhone is for consumer. People buy what they need!

If I need a truck, I'm not going to by a car because it' cheaper or better on gas. A car does me no good if I needed a truck. Why is that so hard for you to grasp?

These Mac-Nazis are Bunch of sheep who will buy anything with an Apple icon on it. Totally unaware of the device's short comings, naively being shafted with 3 times the actual value of the phone. Also unaware that their POS iFLOP runs on a Samsung platform. Mac-Taliban's or Mac-Nazi's are some of the most boring, mindless people I've seen. They have no clue about how anything works, they just like to go for glitter.

Mac = Toy
PC = Tool

I am very open to fringe products, I tend to gravitate toward fringe, I ride a BMW bike, and not a Harley, and so on, but when it comes to computing I want a product that has the widest support and is being used by the entire world, not just some POS 3% marketshare Mac.

I hate Mac-Nazis or Mac-...

It is said that a man's greatest fear is also his greatest obsession. All the people who go that far out of their way to bash Apple and their products must really harbor the desire to own them. I think most don't because they can't afford them.

I don't understand how Apple people can be considered "sheep" when 95% of the market share belongs to the Windows world. Seriously, Windows users can't wait to cripple their PC's with the latest flavor of Vista. How many of the Windows fans flocked out to buy new hardware just to be able to run all that bloat ware? Don't get me wrong,

If only a small percentage of the world is using Mac's then they certain aren't the sheep. The sheep are referred to as the MAJORITY. Windows users have limited t...

this is a typical mac response. I hear it all the time, and it seems that it's your only defense. "since we are such a minority, we must not be sheep." yea right!

can't afford mac? what's there to afford? a 299 or 399 iFLOP? Are we talking Ferrari's now, or a crappy computer that goes out of style in 6 months?

you guys are the biggest sheep, because you are buying a product simply because of it's appeal and not what it can do.

you cannot do all the things that windows do. that's not even remotely possisble. I have yet to meet 1 mac person, just 1, who actually knows anything about computers, yet they talk as if they are IT professionals. always the same jeaberish, which have been taught to you at the Mac cult summer camp, ...

That was quite the rant you had there... I have worked as an IT Professional for the last 19 years. I have worked with an developed in UNIX, Windows and Mac during those years. I have a degree in Computer Sciences and have managed computer networks for many of the nations largest banks. I am currently the Chief Information Officer for a $3.6b company managing all of the network and telephony infrastructure. Then you, a self proclaimed musician, are going to tell me that I don't know anything about computers because I happen to use a Mac? That is laughable. No offense, but I've probably forgotten more about computers than you'll ever know. And I don't just mean Macs, I mean across every platform. Saying that I can't do everything on my Mac th...

Let's keep things straight here.

I have been on this forum for more than 2 years, I don't post controversial topics. I don't look for a fight and I am also Jewish and I can tell you that Mac users are Nazis. Or the term I like to use that's even better is MacTaliban.

Assuming you are telling the truth here, then you would be the first person I've yet to have a dialog with who actually knows a little about computing and is using a Mac. You are the 0.01% of computer users.

If according to your statement iPhone is not a serious player and it's good for music and viewing pics, why are we discussing it on a serious business tool such as the i760 which I happen to own. Do you own one?

Please don't compare your iFLOP with the i760.

I agree. Mac OS is all fluff and no power. It's like, who do you want to build a deck for you? Paris Hilton (Mac) or a strong experienced contractor (Windows)?

Like I said, I have an iPhone (got it because the hardware is just so damn appealing) but I mostly use my Windows Mobile i730.

And you're totally correct about Mac users too. Either they know nothing about computers, or they try to act smart but come off as snobby because they actually don't know anything. And they always seem to say that their stinking Macs can do anything a PC can do (total lie) but never seem to explain. Hmmmm.... 😎

I have an iPhone and a Samsung i730 (i760's predecessor) and you can't compare them.

And if I had to pick one, I'd definitely pick the i730 over the iPhone. The iPhone has really slick hardware, but I personally don't like the software. It's too limited. It's not even a smartphone.

There ya go. 😉
