Battery Life on i760 vs. i730

How's the battery life on the new i760? I own the i730 and if anyone else has owned this phone they know that this is it's worst feature. Can someone who owns the i760 please provide some info on this? Did Samsung improve on this with the? I would burn through two batteries a day with the 730 so I would have to take an extra battery with me all the time AND a charger so that I would always have a full battery on standby! This was the only annoying thing about the 730. Please tell me it's better!

I get 1 1/2 on the standard, and 2 1/2 on the extended. I've had mine since september 19th. I would recommend the desktop charger. I happen to like it.

I have only used the standard battery thus far and here are my results:

With no email configured I can get almost 2 days of battery life. (I used it like this w/o email until the battery ran out).

Once I configured full push/pull email to my hosted Exchange account to send /receive always, as well as configured my Yahoo imap account to send receive every 30min, my battery life is about 17 hours.

Note, I just came off my original Moto-Q with the same email config and a high capacity battery that only yielded me 7-9 hours of battery time.

Note that the building I work in in Manhatten has low signal and drains my battery. So the fact that the i760 w/standard batt gave me double of what the Q w/high cap batt in the same situation is...

I also have the original moto Q (silver). Even using the extended battery I have been extremely disappointed with the battery life. I just wanted to confirm that you are happy with the battery life of the i760 and the phone in general as compared to the Q.
Thanks

EXTREMELY HAPPY!! w/ the Battery life compared to the Moto Q. Its night and day.

When I was just in and around my house and area in Scotch Plains NJ this weekend I was getting a full 24 hours on the standard 760 battery with regular usage and push\pull email. At work in a building that has low signal and historically drains all my Verizon phone batteries I get about 17 hours (10 at work and the other 7 around home and to work).

But I promise you wont have to feel nervous about using the internet a lot on this. The battery just lasts and lasts. Its like the Energizer bunny beat the crap out of the Moto Q.

I just replaced my I730 with a I760 and the battery seems to last much longer. More importantly it is a much better device all around. It is smaller, lighter and a much better phone than the 730. Every new model has some changes that take a little getting used to but this seems to be one of the easiest to adjust to. You will like the fact that you don't always hit the note button and record yourself several times a day and I don't have the problem accidentally dialing my last call like I did with the I730. This is a real step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned.

I know exactly what you're talking about! I can't wait to get the i760. Thanks for the comments.

😎 As of today I'm on my third day of use on the extended battery. Normal use of internet and Wifi, calls as usual.... so far so good!

Had a xv6700 and that thing would go thru a battery within 8 hours of minimal use. Was on my third battery and those seemed to burn up after 4 months and then I'd try and find another.

Glad I bought the I760...its a nice phone!
