Text messaging question

Hey everyone, I had a quick question about the 8700. I'm wondering if it has a texting mode available that isn't T9 or predictive text. I really don't like those styles, and I'm just looking for a normal tap entry like I've had on my Motorolas in the past.

Yes it had the regular tap entry mode (mine was that way as the default)
