Will the LG VX-8700 be available in VZW stores on 04/17/07?
I know it was originally supposed to be released on April 17th. Has this changed?

I have heard May 1 as well from a few VZW corp stores. However, Wireless Toyz in Arlington Heights IL will have it tomorrow. Not sure if this will be all locations, but other indirects may be getting it as well.

I have been trying to decide between the 8600 and 8700. I wanted to see an 8700, but haven't found one. I was talking to VZ on the phone and was told the 8700 won't be sold in stores till the first of May because VZ has an on-line only sale, and it expires the end of the month. Then the stores will be open to sell them.

I am getting one for free since I've had 4 9900's and one of my local stores said they would call me when they got them in since I wanted to see a real one before i had customer service send me one. well the someone from the store called me today and said they were getting some in there shipment tomorrow. I'm gonna have to go take a look.

Try Circuit City now. They are there, but not in the official Verizon Retail stores - go figure! Also, look at the new Moto MAXX, .....you'll get the LG8700 HAND's DOWN! ...unless you like the new plastic and plastic wanna-be glass Razr, and it is not a dummy phone either. What were they thinking? Bravo LG!

I was at Circuit City in Columbus OH last night. Finally got to actually see a phone, but I couldn't buy one. He even called around to see if he could sell one, or find someone that could. But he couldn't. So I ordered mine on-line this morning. Phone looks amazing!!!! I hope it performs as good as it looks.

Anyone wondering why the pushed the release date back 2 weeks. This is especially weird since they have been selling it online for a couple weeks already. Do you think they are fixing any issues with it before it hits the stores?
