Adding words to T9 dictionary?????

Is this possible? With my old LG phones I was able to add words by typing it in ABC mode then changing to T9 and pressing 0 at the end of the word to save it. I do that now and it does not work.

Advise anyone?

I just bought this phone and I was wondering this myself. I had an LG phone before I got this one and I thought maybe it worked the same way. I kept typing words that I wanted to add in ABC mode, but it doesn't save it.
