power vision freezing up
hey, i have been playing with this phone non stop. i don't have very much of my memory full (32 songs, 50 pictures, 1 10 sec. video) and i am just wondering if anyone has had problems with the internet freezing on them, i've had to reboot the phone (taking out the battery) twice today. and i'm wondering if its a defect with my phone in particular, or if i'm pressing buttons too fast, or if everyone expieriances this and i should just get over it.

no the only thing I have experienced is some blue tooth connecting problems. Say I try to connect from the phone and forgot to turn on the headset. It gets stuck trying to connect and even if I turn it off the icon comes and goes. I have to turn it off then back on. But If I just remember to turn it on then I never have encountered it that way!

I have 120 songs,about 20 pics,and 30min video. Took up about 700mb of memory. I have no problems, exept for some bluetooth profiles.

Maybe jsut like if you go to walmart or any store and keep asking about a PS3 they wouldn't know or get annoyed. They said it would be sometime in mid JAN. It is mid Jan today. They may have production shortfalls if allot of people want the phone. So it may take longer to get to the stores. If you want it so bad call and order it!

The problem you are experiencing probably has nothing to do with your handset. If you are using the "power vision" (EVDO), it is a litle different that the good ole' 1x data that we have been used to for the past 5 or so years. EVDO actually uses it own channel, and is almost like a cell site with in a cell site. There are some limitations to it, one of them is hand-offs. Because these channels only have data across them, and not voice, the change from one cell to the next does not need to be as "pretty". If a hand-off goes sour, youre session may become stale, or if you ar on the fringe of an EVDO market, the same can happen. I hope this offers you some insight.
