I found Garmin mobile available to download, but no Telenav. 😢 At least I know the GPS capability is in there. Perhaps just a matter of time before Telenav releases the software for it.

in the phone's menu go to My Content, then to Applications, then Get New. You can find Garmin by either selecting to see All the applications or by selecting Find It/Travel subcategory.

Hey all - currently with Verizon Wireless - seriously considering trying Sprint. How does Telenav work? What's the pricing?

TIA!!!

Definitely a very good consideration. I am a recent convert from Verizon, and I could not be happier. Much better comapny with very good coverage as I even get Sprint sevice in some places that Verizon does not. Also their prices are much more reasonable and their plans are a lot more flexible. I love having my night hours begin at 6 instead of 9 and that's just one of the perks. All I can tell you about Telenav is that it costs 10.00 a month. I have never tried it because I have my own Garmin Nuvi GPS unit which no phone can ever compare too so I would look for reviews about it before I subscreibe to it if I were you. I definitely highly recommedn Sprint though and the M1 by Sanyo is definitely the nicest phone I have had in years. Well go...

The telenav available on new powervision phones is very nice. it has alot of features you would expect to find on a dash unit. You can find businesses near you or along a route as you navigate somewhere, mark waypoints, and view 3d nav images. best of all, you are more likely to have your phone with you riding in someone elses car/walking through downtown than having your dash unit. it is very nice.

I honestly have never tried Garmin, I'm sure it is nice. I've just been an avid user of Telenav since it was released. Telenav does offer 30 days free trial on sprint. go to the sprint store or call to request the trial, its not available on the mobile web.
