Samsung BlackJack SGH-i607

I bought a 3125 a few days ago, just went back to the store to swap out my phone, (since we have 30 days 🙂) for a black jack. My question is, when I set up my express mail, when you get notified of an email, does that count as a text message? On the 3125 I had the smartphone connect unlimited plan, then I added 200 Texts a month. So when I get the Black Jack (they had to oder one, didn't have any in stock ☹️ ) all I should have to do is put my sim card in my new phone, right? No other changes need to be made, or am I missing something? Thanks
