I'm F'ING PISSED!!!!
i *JUST* got an update email from cingular telling me my f'ing phone was backordered, confirming what the web site status update link said. I ordered this f'n thing not more than 5 minutes after it appeared on the web site LAST NIGHT!!!!!!! You bet your ass I'm calling Cingular and ripping them a new rear end. They already have my money, as it was deducted right away from my checking account, but now they're making me wait for a phone that they said was in stock. I don't think so. I'm gonna try to get more money off or a service credit and find out when I'll be getting this thing. If they don't have the phone, they shouldn't bill me until they're going to ship it! I'll let you know how I make out.

well i got off the phone again and well i guess it's time to play the waiting game again. they said it's an online only offer for right now but it was posted too early beacuse the order was backordered from nokia and was susposed to be in stock today but it didnt happen. but they did guarantee me it was coming. so at least put it this way at least we are one step closer and that we know it is here for sure, just not today!!! 😢

The warehouse is showing an inventory of -13. According to the girl on the phone, it should ship "some time next week or early the following week" I literally ordered my phone 5 minutes after it appeared online LAST NIGHT and APPARENTLY it sold out in those few minutes BEFORE my order. After bitching for a half hour, I was able to get an upgrade to free overnight priority shipping, and a $50 credit towards my cingular bill. I'm still not happy. I want my f'n phone.

I think I got my order in six minutes after yours, Foshizzzzzle, so I guess I should try a little complaining too, to get a better deal. But the best deal I can think of would be to get the bluming phone!

How's the battery life on that 6126? Is it as bad as they say? This phone is still in the running for my choice.

i ran the music player yesterday for about 2- 2.5 hrs and made a few average length calls (5-10 mins each) and am still fooling around with setting alot, and the battery (the same battery from my old 6102i- have not put the brand new battery in yet) lasted through the day. it was ready to be charged last night, but that's my normal routine. so far i am satisfied. because for most days, i doubt i will be running the mp3 for 2.5 hrs. my wife has been going with an every other day charge (with her old battery as well)

I guess I'm spoiled with my Nokia 3220. I can go over a week without a charge with normal use. I'm guessing this may not be the norm!
I use my phone quite a bit, but I don't use any extras other than just the camera once in a while.
My current phone is very basic, so I'm sure I should expect to have to charge a new phone more frequently with added features and functionality.
I checked out the 6126 at a Cingy kiosk. It felt good in my hand. I think I'll go back and check out a "live" one instead of the display model. Seriously, this will be the phone I buy if the N75 turns out to be overpriced crap or if the 6085 is not yet released. That's another phone I'm interested in.
