I am a RSC for Cingular Wireless, now at&t. We will be getting the Nokia N75 around Feb. 13th. Date is subject to change. I do not believe consumers will see a rebranding of the at&t logo until around September on their phones.

That is very good news. I have research many different phones and I like what I have found out about the Nokia N75. I can hardly wait for it to appear on the shelves. Keep us in touch with any further updates.

The only phone he mentioned was the red sync after which I asked about the N75....After his response I laughed at him and told him to have a nice day.. Thankfully there is an abundance of Cingular stores near me so I can take that store off the list..

Good god! I tried the Sync. Truly, I can't understand the appeal of that phone. I guess it must work for some people, but the N75 looks sooo much better. Please, please, Cingular (now the new AT&T, ha-ha) release this one!

I'm a sales guy with Cingular, and I prefer Nokia phones, I really wanted the N75 but I'm sick of waiting for it. I'm not trying to sway anyone to buy higher priced phones, actually the v3xx is a heck of a lot cheaper than the n75 was going to be (i heard from my nokia rep that it was going to be around $200 with contract), the v3xx is only $80 with contract. I'm just trying to give other options for people who don't want to wait for the n75. I did copy and paste my note because I wanted everyone to know about the update from Nokia right away. To tell you the truth, we have pricing on our pricesheets and rebates sometimes months before they are released. Ex. we had a rebate for the k1 krzr about 3 months before it was released. Cingular shou...

I am a corporate sales rep for Cingular in SC. I just talked with my Nokia rep and she confirmed that the N75 has been pushed back to April. She said that she just found out yesterday that Cingular wants new software on the N75 and that pushed it back till April. The Nokia n76 looks good, but it will not be sold in the U.S. Correct, Cingular is talking with Nokia about releasing the 6126 soon, but nothing is solid on that. The bad thing is that the 6126 is edge and not 3g. Nokia will be releasing the 2610 and the 6085 the first week of Feb. They will be replacing the 6030 and the 6102i. The 6102i will be a gophone with Cingular. YES, it is true Nokia will not have a 3G device with Cingular until at least April! Very sad. All this is true, ju...

I agree! But the 6085 will be a nice phone. Its not 3g, but it will be a great device. I was wrong about the release date on those 2 nokias by the way. First week of feb is the final approval from cingular, it should be released shortly after, as soon as I have more info, I will let you know. Also, I used a Motorola v3xx today, and I was really impressed! It is capable of 3.6 mbp 3g speeds, really impressive.

How about the Cingular Sync as an option, price seens reasonable, HSDPA speeds, stero bluetooth. Good ratings per this website.

I doubt that this is true. Sounds like this guy is a sales rep trying to sway people to purchase other higher priced phones that are available, ie. the V3XX. He copy & pasted his post in a couple of threads, which seems a little odd.

I don't want to be a troll or anything, but why the hell would it be showing up on current pricing lists if a launch was so far off. And why exactly would Cingular/AT&T strip out 3G, a major selling feature, if they're working so freaking hard to roll out their 3G network?

Sorry brother. SHENANIGANS.
