Ok well, I will say that despite all the problems I've had, this is still an amazing phone....If it worked properly. I've read all the threads on attwebstite, and they haven't helped. I've had five different n75's now, and I'm about to exchange another one..I'm sure this will be another refurb, but its been the same problems with all of them. They freeze on the internet, the front screen stops working, the speaker is so soft I can't hear it in a quiet room, the speaker is full of static, etc. Bunch of problems, but I figure if I keep exchanging it, the problems will eventually get fixed. I think I've just had toons of problems that are unique to me. My n80 has been great...no problems at all.

If you downloade any questionable themes like most of us did-you may find that deleting them and/or placing them on the phone memory may solve most of
your freezing/cover screen problems-it's usually user error, not equipment error...

Throw in the towel with that N75 and consider a Nokia 6110 or Nokia 5700. I've had the same issues with my 3 different N75's. Ive had NO QUESTIONABLE THEMES BY THE WAY. Or you can wait for the N82

if you still have the n75, remove the cingular firmware and install the original nokia firmware back on the phone. cingular ruined the phone with their firmware, and my phone is now 10 times better and much more stable.

Yeah, I here the same, remove it, well, how? I willing to try. And don't have the tech savy of an iphone hacker to figure it out.

wow, whatever store you are going to must have a very bad batch. i took my v3xx back to exchange it for this phone and I love it. The calls are loud and clear and even sound better than on the v3xx. The ringers are also extremely loud and can easily be heard from any room. The only 2 things I don't like are the quiet speakerphone, and also the vibration is way too weak so I won't be using it that much. Other than that I have no regrets with the N75. Hope things work out for you.
