Wednesday afternoon amazon.com had this phone for sale for $149, tonight it is on wait-list selling for $49, both with a 2 year contract. Only a $50 mail in rebate at cingular.com.
My question is...what is the difference in where you make the purchase, excluding the $$$?
Is amazon.com a reputable place to make the purchase? What is the catch, anything? Any return issues at amazon?
Or is there a better place to make the purchase? Thanks for all responses.

i dont know too much about amazons cell phones.
but if u put an extra 50 down u can get it from wirefly and i have delt with them before and they are pretty good.

Just relize, that if you do decide to back out of the contract, it's going to cost you more then the $175.00 or $200.00 early termination fee you would have to pay Cingular.

Well, if there is a problem, just checked BestBuy's return policy, I can just bring it back to the local store. Seems some are having good luck, some not. I wanted it off contract.
