I'm so ready to switch to the v3xx if this doesn't come out soon.

You don't want to do that, trust me.

I had a V3xx and returned it. I know not all phones are perfect but I had a few issues with it. Main things were call quality when on Bluetooth headset and as I have 4 headsets so I can change and always have them on charge in office and home and car if one dies I doubt it was a headset problem.
The one thing I don't have here is the Data speed I looked over everything and the V3xx is the fastest data phone from Cingular 3.6 mps followed by the rest Sync, LG500, 750 and Blackjack all running at 1.8 mps. I understand HSDPA but the N75 runs WCDMA and it says 385 kps that is not much faster than Edge Unless the WCDMA makes a big difference it may be worth looking for another phone for data speeds. But the rest of the package is appealing

I wasn't impressed with the speed on the V3xx. For some reason it had worse latencies than my N73. Even though the N73 is only EDGE it felt faster to browse the web on it. Most of where I travel is EDGE only so for the next couple of years good EDGE performance is all I care about.

It seems from test by N75 owners that it can actually max out on EDGE network at 385 kbps which is plenty good for anything including video streaming.

Because of the small screen and resolution I can stream live TV via Orb to my N73 at only 60 kbps and it's still watchable. I've also done it at 160 kbps and at that speed there is not much to complain about.

3.6 Mbps would only make sense if you tether it but at the kind of rate they're charging for that....

Looks like you found teh same as me on V3xx I kept getting dropped data then would have to reboot it was a royal pain. The real nice thing with 3G is call and data at the same time. I am not sure of the Edge to 3G although I do know Cingy are upgrading network in the Summer big time I was told 3G will run at 6Meg
Still looking for the Nokia Windows phone are unstable and Palm are few and far between.

I stopped at a Cingular kiosk yesterday and they had a poster of the N75 up. I asked the guy there when it will be available. He said it will be out next month.

I was told the same, but ended up getting a V3xx at 30% off $250 do to Compusa closing their store w/o contract. At like $190 w/o contract it was too good a deal to pass up, been using it for several days and so far no complaints. Yes would rather have the N75 but basically it's a second phone to carry light when I don't want to carry my Treo 750.

Saw an n75 on ebay. The bidding is up to $830. That is insane. I will wait. I have a phone upgred coming up in August. So I will wait on that. Unless I find one on ebay for a whole hell of a lot less than $800.

I agree no matter how good it is, it's not worth that kind of money, sure $350 or so w/o contract, $200 with.

I know it is crazy what some people will pay for something that will get cheap in a short time. Take it when the first Razrs came out. People were paying $500 or more just to have it. Now look 1 year later cell phone companies are giving them away.

Hell the RAZR's were $500 on a 2 year w/Cingular. Ridiculous.
