Can you turn on the speaker phone before the call is connected? On my SE Z500a you have to wait until the other person picks up and then go through the stupid warning about it being loud. On the RAZR you can turn on speaker phone while it is ringing.
Also...how much of a pain is it that you have to hold in the volume key to get the external display to turn back on (to check the time or whatever)? On my SE you have to hold a key for like half a second but it sounds like it's quite a bit longer on the SYNC.
I was waiting on the KRZR K1 but this phone is really nice and much cheaper than I'm sure the Moto will be.

Yes, you can active your speaker phone while you're waiting for the other party to answer...you don't have to wait till they pick up. You can actually do it right after you hit the green talk button after dialing. The external display takes about 2-3 seconds... I am used to just hitting on button (without holding) it to check the time or whatever... so, it's annoying, but come one, it's only three seconds. The phone is still great and far better than the V3.
